Spring Forward

Spring Forward

What inspired me to create this collection was flying into the Bay Area and looking down at the beautiful green hills in the winter. When I'm driving to my studio through the Crockett hills, that are so green covered in orange and red poppies, lavender and mustard green. I had to paint them intuitively in my own way.

Greyscale Series

Greyscale Series

Sometimes when I start my paintings, I will work out a composition in a greyscale. I have always loved how they turned out so, I decided to do a small series just using Payne’s Grey, Carbon Black and Titanium White acrylic paint.

Open Waters

Open Waters

I live in the Bay Area of California and we have 7 bridges to connect us to different areas in the bay. Everyday I go over these bridges, looking at the construction of the bridges, waterways, the open ocean, mothball fleet, sail boats, cargo ships...etc.. I work intuitively and I'm interpreting these paintings through a visual language.

Spaces

Spaces

This collection is about expressing oneself in this world. It maybe in a small space engaging within a familiar community or on a much larger scale that is national or worldly.
